Job Description
Join Optum as a Lead Pharmacy Clerk, where you'll lead the Fulfillment operational team to ensure high-quality pharmacy services and compliance with regulations. Your expertise will directly impact health outcomes and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Completes Pharmacy operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees
Assists in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Provides leadership for training and development of team
Monitors individual and team performance
Diagnose process improvement opportunities
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Initiate, coordinate and enforce operational policies and procedures
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
Liaise with suppliers and transport companies
Plan work rotations, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
Produce reports and statistics regularly
Maintain necessary certifications and training
Required Qualifications
1+ years of experience working in a production environment
Intermediate level of proficiency with computer applications
Ability to work onsite and flexible to work occasional overtime and weekends
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
Preferred Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Kansas
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
1+ years of supervisory experience
1+ year experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience working in a mail order setting
