Join Performance Foodservice as a Class B Diesel Mechanic Technician and play a vital role in maintaining our fleet of trucks. You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of vehicles that support America’s food distribution system.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers
Complete documentation for work orders and repairs
Inspect and repair brake systems, steering mechanisms, and other critical parts
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and equipment lubrication
Install, replace, and repair onboard computers
Conduct road call services as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience
Experience with PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes
Diagnosis and computerized diagnostics
Electrical troubleshooting and electronic component repair
Experience in A/C refrigeration
