We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Med-Surg Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role requires a professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, general medical-surgical setting and is comfortable stepping into a Charge RN role as needed. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of recent Med-Surg experience and be familiar with the Soarian EMR system. Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Med-Surg Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role requires a professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, general medical-surgical setting and is comfortable stepping into a Charge RN role as needed. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of recent Med-Surg experience and be familiar with the Soarian EMR system. Prior travel nursing experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, competent, and evidence-based nursing care to Med-Surg patients. Monitor patient condition, assess, and document patient responses to interventions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Serve in a Charge RN capacity as needed, supervising staff and coordinating unit operations. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Soarian EMR system. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times. Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Preferred Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 1 year recent experience in a general Med-Surg unit – Required Prior Charge RN experience – Required or Highly Preferred Prior travel nursing experience – Preferred Experience using Soarian EMR
