Key Responsibilities
Greets patients as they arrive and manages wait time
Handles patient check-in and check-out tasks including insurance verification
Collects co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles
Manages cashier box and daily deposits
Processes walk-in patients and visitors
Answers phones and schedules appointments
Maintains and manages medical records
Establishes effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service experience with strong communication skills both in person and via phone
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft applications
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of related medical office work experience, including data entry
1+ years of working knowledge of general office procedures
Experience with EMR computer applications
ICD 10 and CPT coding experience
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Bilingual Spanish/English
