Job Description
Join SSM Health as a Pharmacist Coordinator, where you'll oversee operations such as medication management, regulatory compliance, and inventory management. You'll lead quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with various departments to enhance pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
Develops and implements quality improvement activities
Implements policies for department operations
Coordinates activities with other departments
Compiles reports and keeps informed on developments
Acts as a consultant to support services and pharmacy staff
Leads pharmacy staff by assigning tasks and training
Precepts pharmacy students and residents as applicable
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D or Bachelor of Pharmacy) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
Two years’ experience
Registered Pharmacist in relevant states
Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification within 90 days of employment
