Job Description
As a Navy Chaplain, you'll provide spiritual support to Sailors and Marines, conducting worship services, counseling, and overseeing religious education programs. Join a respected community of Chaplains from diverse faiths and make a significant impact on the lives of military personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct worship services in various settings
Perform religious rites and ceremonies such as weddings and funerals
Counsel individuals seeking guidance
Oversee religious education programs
Provide spiritual guidance to hospitalized personnel
Train lay leaders for religious education
Promote attendance at religious services and events
Advise leaders on morale, ethics, and spiritual well-being
Required Qualifications
U.S. citizen or equivalent
Graduate degree in theological or related studies from an accredited educational institution
Two years of full-time religious leadership experience
Ability to obtain an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from a religious faith organization registered with the Department of Defense
