Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate a therapeutic program that meets residents' needs
Assess resident characteristics and organize program content
Monitor daily functioning of the neighborhood
Assist in staff training regarding memory care programs
Establish and maintain teamwork through effective communications
Participate in support groups
Market the program through community involvement
Maintain accurate documentation
Assist with resident admissions and adjustments
Keep abreast of current research and community resources
Required Qualifications
Must be an LPN
Experience with Alzheimer’s and other dementia individuals
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of previous experience in programming
Background in nursing/providing one-on-one care for seniors
Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
