As a Reactor Supervisor and Initial License Trainee at Constellation Energy, you will lead the operations of a Nuclear Power Generating Station, ensuring safety and efficiency. You will gain vital training to achieve your Senior Reactor Operator License, while contributing to the organization’s mission of delivering clean energy.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Nuclear Power Generating Station operations
Direct Reactor Operators and Equipment Operators
Authorize maintenance and testing activities
Implement Emergency Operating procedures
Evaluate and respond to internal and external issues
Oversee special projects as directed
Create and review Emergency Operating Procedures
Review design and license changes
Direct operating shift personnel
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Pass Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST)
Complete FLS Leadership Assessment
1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility
1.5 years in a position equivalent to Reactor Operator at military reactor
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical sciences with specific experience
