PCU RN Job Details – Saginaw, MI

• Location: Saginaw, MI 48607 (Michigan healthcare job)
• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Neuro PCU
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: February 23, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1720 - $1840

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license (required for Michigan nursing jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience
• Neuro PCU experience required
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Recent travel nurse experience highly preferred
• Current PCU skills checklist (within 1 year)
• 2 supervisory reference forms (within last 2 years)
• Permanent address required (local candidates considered with 50-mile radius restriction)

PCU RN Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient needs, delivering skilled nursing care as outlined in the care plan
• Administer medications, perform treatments, provide patient education, and assist with transfers
• Respond promptly to call lights and alarms, ensuring compassionate clinical support
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Delegate and supervise support staff within the PCU
• Maintain compliance with Michigan state, federal, and hospital regulations and policies
