Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Special Education Aide and make a meaningful impact in the lives of K–12 students with autism and behavioral needs. Support teachers in creating a structured, positive learning environment while gaining valuable experience in special education.
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students.
Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support.
Work closely with teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
Track and document behavioral data consistently.
Partner with special education staff and families for unified support.
Support students with daily routines such as toileting and feeding.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Experience providing personal care support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
US Work Authorization
English proficiency
Passion for supporting students
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting children with autism or severe emotional needs
Experience in special education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors
