Job Description
Join our healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) where you'll play a vital role in supporting patient care by performing clinical and administrative duties. Your skills will ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for patients.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
Assist with clinical procedures such as injections, EKGs, and specimen collection
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems
Schedule appointments, manage phone calls, and handle patient inquiries
Coordinate prescription refills and prior authorizations with pharmacies and insurance providers
Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and properly equipped
Comply with all healthcare regulations and confidentiality requirements
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Current CMA certification
CPR certification
Strong communication skills
Organizational skills
Multitasking skills
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
