Key Responsibilities
Develop sales and marketing plans to achieve budgeted sales and margin goals
Recommend and sell products and services to customers
Collaborate with other divisions to grow the CHS enterprise
Establish and maintain effective public relations through customer education
Monitor trends and competition
Resolve customer complaints and develop solutions
Complete the sales process including scheduling appointments and making presentations
Build rapport with potential accounts and close sales
Keep management informed with reports on sales activities
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
4+ years of sales or related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
General knowledge of cooperative systems
Strong presentation skills
General knowledge of refined fuels or related products
Experience with selling concepts, products, and programs to a diverse customer base
Negotiation skills with win-win business solutions
Ability to enable strong customer relationships
Ability to travel up to 50%
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites
