Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests on vehicles
Perform system repairs including engines, transmission, air and hydraulic systems
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections
Complete repairs in accordance with DOT requirements
Perform routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, and refrigeration systems
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Basic math skills
Strong diagnostic skills
Ability to read, write and speak English
Own set of tools
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds
Clean PSP/MVR
Computer proficiency with MS Office and TMT
Preferred Qualifications
CDL A license
Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school
Minimum of 3 years of related experience as a diesel mechanic
