Key Responsibilities
Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems
Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections & repairs
Replaces defective components as instructed
Interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
Acts as mentor for Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic tools required
Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
Routine preventative maintenance experience
Basic diagnostics and repairs, including AC and electrical systems
Minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational or Technical Certification
Three (3) years or more relevant work experience
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A
