Job Description
The Vice President of the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center at ASPCA is a leadership role focused on managing operations and fostering a collaborative team culture to improve the lives of at-risk animals. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for animal welfare.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all operations at the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center
Ensure staff are well-trained on SOPs
Oversee volunteer, foster, and adoption programs
Lead the development of yearly strategic plans
Supervise senior directors and team managers
Foster a healthy team culture aligned with ASPCA Core Values
Required Qualifications
BS, BA or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a large team
Experience managing a budget
Exceptional leadership skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working as a leader in an animal shelter
