Key Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Assist residents with basic health care needs
Document resident interactions and care outcomes
Communicate resident's changing condition to the charge nurse
Assist with food preparation and dining experiences
Provide housekeeping and laundry services
Participate in wellness and recreational programs
Required Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Minimum age of 16
Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
Preferred Qualifications
High school graduate or GED
Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing
Maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year
May be required to complete the Restorative Nursing training within 6 months
