Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Social Worker, providing essential mental health services to a diverse community. Use a trauma-informed, culturally affirming approach to help individuals and families enhance their well-being. Work collaboratively with community partners to address health disparities and support resilience in those you serve.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychosocial assessments
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and families
Provide individual, group, family, collateral treatment and crisis services/interventions
Liaise with families, schools, criminal justice, and other community agencies to coordinate care
Maintain documentation according to standards and time frames
Participate in clinical meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and supervision
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work from an accredited program
New York State License or limited permit in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT), or social work (LMSW)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience treating children or adolescents
Fluency in a second language
