Job Description
Join Sysco's World Class Sales Team as a Sales Consultant in Kansas City. This outside sales role focuses on building customer relationships and achieving sales goals while enjoying competitive pay, training, and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts
Seek and qualify prospects
Research customer business needs and develop products and services
Evaluate market trends and recommend products
Provide product information and training to customer personnel
Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts
Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order process problems
Attend company functions and customer events
Engage in ongoing training sessions
Assist with training of new employees
Perform administrative duties related to sales
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-Lingual
Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, Chef Experience preferred
