Join CenterWell Senior Primary Care as a Bilingual Medical Assistant, where you will be the first point of contact for patient care. You'll perform clinical duties and collaborate with healthcare providers, making a meaningful impact on patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Perform clinical duties such as discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs
Administer medications and vaccines
Conduct phlebotomy and collect specimens
Perform diagnostic screening tests and maintain examination rooms
Document information in the electronic medical records system
Collaborate closely with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
CPR Certified
Must pass TB screening
Preferred Qualifications
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
Phlebotomy experience
Medication/vaccine administration experience
1+ years MA experience
Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
