Job Description
Join Kaiser as a Chemical Dependency Recovery Counselor III, where you will provide essential addiction treatment and psychotherapy to patients and their families. You will play a crucial role in assessment, treatment planning, and team collaboration, helping individuals navigate their recovery journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Answers and triages patient calls for information, treatment services, and crisis calls
Provides higher level assessment for various diagnoses and evaluations
Performs intake and psychosocial assessments
Develops and presents treatment plans to the treatment team
Participates in clinical case conferences
Conducts chemical dependency focused educational lectures
Provides individual and group counseling services
Provides therapy for adolescents, significant others, families, and multi-family groups
Offers case management services including resource and referral coordination
May mentor CDRP/S Counselors I and II, student interns, and licensure candidates
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years post graduate relevant supervised addiction medicine therapy experience within the last five (5) years
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or other field related to behavioral health
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California)
