Travel Nursing Job Details

• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (Wednesdays off), with intermittent call coverage (vacations and call-ins)

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2330-$2500

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Illinois RN license (required for all Illinois nursing jobs)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedics, neurosurgery, and/or robotics preferred; experience in multiple surgical specialties is a plus
• Must submit all requested time off (RTO) at time of application
• Travel nurses must reside at least 50 miles outside of O'Fallon, IL

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
• Assist with a range of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, neurosurgical, robotic, and general surgeries
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a sterile environment and strictly follow infection control protocols
• Participate in call coverage as needed to support the operating room team
• Accurately document patient care in accordance with hospital and healthcare policies
