Key Responsibilities
Administers the nursing program in a long term care facility
Facilitates optimization of the geriatric care process
Advises medical staff and department heads
Monitors operations of nursing staff for compliance
Schedules staff and conducts performance reviews
Provides nursing care to residents as needed
Develops and implements marketing activities/programs
Required Qualifications
Unencumbered RN license
Five years nursing experience
Thorough knowledge of nursing practice act
Working knowledge of administrative and management techniques
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
Experience in Housing with Services or assisted living
