Job Description
Join WuXi AppTec as a Business Development Manager for TIDES Catalog, where you'll lead business development activities in North America. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance sales strategies and achieve key account objectives in a remote role, ideally based in Boston.
Key Responsibilities
Develop plans and programs for existing accounts to gain market share
Develop strategies and tactics to gain new business
Achieve PO targets for key accounts and new accounts
Record progress of BD activities in Salesforce and provide updates to management
Coordinate efforts with WuXi business units and project management teams
Collect and utilize data for competitive intelligence and analysis
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in chemical or pharmaceutical development and/or manufacturing
Self-starter, self-motivated, highly flexible
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation skills)
Organized and detail-oriented
Proven experience in creating successful business development plans and processes
Familiarity with Salesforce and proficiency with MS Office Products
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in or managing CRO, CMO or CDMOs
Marketing experience
MS/PhD in Chemistry or equivalent training/experience in Oligonucleotide/Peptide chemistry
Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's (MS) in Life Sciences
