Immediate Need :
This is an urgent requirement. Nurse must be available to start ASAP .
Required Certifications & Experience:
- Current AHA Certifications :
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Trauma Certification :
- TNS (Trauma Nurse Specialist) or TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIHSS Certification (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Department RN experience required
Unit Details:
- Total Beds : 30
- 27 Medical ED Beds
- 3 ED Psychiatric Beds
- Patient Volume :
- Average 120 patients per day
- Daily range: 100–140 patients
- Staffing Model :
- Staffed based on Average Daily Census (ADC)
- Varied shift lengths
- Nursing Model :
- POD Nursing Assignments (team-based)
Designations & Capabilities:
- Level II Trauma Center
- Level II Stroke Center
- Chest Pain Accreditation
- Sexual Assault Treatment Center :
- Fully equipped for comprehensive care of sexual assault survivors
