? Registered Nurse – Cardiac Telemetry / Cardiac PCU
? Location: Rockford, IL
? Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend & Holiday
? Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

We are actively seeking an experienced RN to join our Cardiac Telemetry / Stroke & Neuro Unit. This is a Step-Down/Cardiac PCU role requiring a strong cardiac background and the ability to manage complex neurological and telemetry patients.

? Requirements:

• Current RN license in Illinois
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent cardiac step-down or telemetry experience
• Certifications Required:
  • (BLS)
  • ACLS
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Influenza

? Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members
• Administer medications and treatments per hospital policy and nursing standards
• Create and implement patient care plans in accordance with physician orders
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of care provided
• Participate in unit performance improvement initiatives, including shared governance
• Provide clinical guidance to other departments regarding patient care plans
• Use critical thinking to enhance patient safety and elevate concerns as needed
