Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Telemetry RN with at least 1 year of clinical experience to join our dynamic team. The Telemetry RN will provide specialized care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and step-down level care. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, clinical competence, and a patient-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and promptly respond to any changes or abnormalities.
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with cardiac, respiratory, and other acute medical conditions.
- Administer medications, IV drips, and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Recognize and respond to emergency situations, including code blue and rapid response.
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system (EHR/EMR).
- Ensure patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies.
- Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge processes of patients.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred).
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State].
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Telemetry, Step-Down, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

EMR: Epic/Cerner
