ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Orthopedics for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas.
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Rotating weekends and 2 major holidays required
• No call requirements
• Must have active Texas RN license (temporary licenses no longer accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years medical-surgical RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• Minimal wound care experience required
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Meditech documentation system experience preferred
• Required to float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
• Perform total knee/hip replacement procedures, incision & drainage, and pre/post-operative procedures
• Dress code requires navy scrub top and pants with navy or white scrub jacket
• Must maintain clean, neat appearance with covered body art and no visible piercings other than ears
• Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors
