Job Description
Join Market Square Optical as an Eyewear Customer Experience Associate, where you will provide exceptional service to customers selecting designer eyewear. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment and achieving sales goals while ensuring a seamless eyewear journey for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and determine their eyewear needs
Assist customers in selecting frames
Explain lens options and features
Accurately take measurements
Process sales transactions
Maintain knowledge of current eyewear trends
Assist with frame inventory management
Perform minor frame adjustments and repairs
Maintain a clean and organized retail environment
Schedule appointments for eye exams
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues
Collaborate with the optometry team
Meet or exceed sales goals
Participate in training sessions
Adhere to company policies
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous retail sales experience, preferably in an optical setting
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills and proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
Some college coursework
Knowledge of eyewear products, lens types, and insurance plans
