Key Responsibilities
Conducts emergency psychiatric assessments and interprets the needs of patients
Facilitates treatment processes and coordinates care with ED staff
Documents assessments and case management activities related to patients
Participates in quality and safety initiatives
Engages in administrative activities, including team meetings and clinical supervision
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
A minimum of two years' experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role
Current CT license required: LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
Computer proficient
Ability to assess problems and make timely decisions
Excellent communication skills
Focused on personal, patient/client and unit/staff safety
Preferred Qualifications
