Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg; Additional Notes from VMS= CRITICAL CARE/MED SURG RN
Job Details:
• Work 3 or 4 twelve-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule includes weekdays and every other weekend
• Float pool responsibilities required
• Open to blocked scheduling arrangements
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Average 0.2 patients per day on unit
• 13-week contract length
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Travel experience not required
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIH
• Preferred certification: CCRN
• Required skills: Conscious sedation, Telemetry, Ventilators
• WV or Compact license required (pending license acceptable)
• Scrubs not provided - must wear wine and/or burgundy colored scrubs
• Electronic Medical Record system: CPSI
• Minimum 2 manager or charge references within past 2 years required
• Must have permanent address greater than 100 miles from facility
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Average 8 hours of non-billable modules to complete prior to start
• Orientation occurs every other Thursday
