Key Responsibilities
Administers the nursing program in a long term care facility
Facilitates the optimization of the geriatric care process
Responsible for overall quality of care provided by nursing personnel
Advises medical staff and department heads on nursing service strategies
Monitors operations of nursing staff for compliance with regulations
Conducts employee performance reviews and schedules staff
Leads the development and execution of clinical programs and policies
Required Qualifications
Five years nursing experience required
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of nursing care
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
Housing with Services, housing and urban development (HUD), and/or assisted living experience
