Job Description
Join ABF Freight as a Local CDL-A Truck Driver and enjoy the benefits of home daily schedules and competitive wages. You will be responsible for cargo pickup and delivery, as well as operating forklifts and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload cargo
Perform various tasks including check-in and tractor/trailer inspection
Exercise independent judgment in trailer building and tearing down
Operate a forklift as needed
Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets
Required Qualifications
Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
Minimum 21 years of age
Good stable work record
Safe driving record
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen
Meet DOT medical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience
