The Director of the Adult and Family Residential Division at The Jewish Board will lead and oversee programs supporting residents with serious mental illness to achieve stability and independence. This role involves administrative and clinical supervision, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Provides administrative and clinical supervision
Ensures overall clinical, operational and fiscal oversight of assigned programs
Develops and implements new programs, projects and initiatives
Conducts regular apartment inspections
Maintains adherence to program budgets and fiscal viability
Participates in agency and external committees and initiatives
Required Qualifications
LCSW, MSW, or other clinical qualification preferred
At least two years of supervisory experience in residential services or related human services programs
Substantial experience in working with serious mentally ill population
Understanding of trauma informed care
Understanding of co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse addiction
Preferred Qualifications
MPA, MPH, or related degree
Compassion and respect for vulnerable individuals
Patience and understanding for the sometimes slow process of stabilization and recovery
