Key Responsibilities
Provides management oversight for multiple nursing neighborhoods
Acts as a resource to staff regarding administrative programs and policies
Promotes collaboration with physicians and healthcare disciplines
Analyzes problems and demonstrates initiative in problem resolution
Conducts investigations of incidents and takes appropriate follow-up action
Develops and implements infection prevention and control programs
Participates in facility's QAA Committee and annual assessments
Provides education related to infection prevention to staff and residents
Required Qualifications
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Current RN license in the state of work
Three to four years of recent nursing experience
Demonstrated administrative and supervisory competency
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent
One year management experience
Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control
