Job Description
Join Optum as an Associate Patient Care Coordinator, where you'll enhance patient experiences and support health outcomes through exceptional service and teamwork. This full-time role involves managing front office responsibilities, ensuring patient satisfaction, and contributing to clinical and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Complete set processes and protocols
Support the care team in delivering excellent customer service
Check in and check out responsibilities including insurance verification and scheduling
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office
Document patient interactions and manage records
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of medical front office experience
Beginner level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Independent means of transportation and the ability to travel 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience with knowledge of Nevada medical insurances
Cash handling experience
Experience working with an electronic health record
Knowledge of medical terminology
Bilingual in Spanish/English
