Job Description

Join Optum as an Associate Patient Care Coordinator, where you'll enhance patient experiences and support health outcomes through exceptional service and teamwork. This full-time role involves managing front office responsibilities, ensuring patient satisfaction, and contributing to clinical and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete set processes and protocols
  • Support the care team in delivering excellent customer service
  • Check in and check out responsibilities including insurance verification and scheduling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office
  • Document patient interactions and manage records

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of medical front office experience
  • Beginner level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Independent means of transportation and the ability to travel 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience with knowledge of Nevada medical insurances
  • Cash handling experience
  • Experience working with an electronic health record
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
