Job Description

Join Kaiser as a Child and Family Mental Health Therapist, providing diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy for children and adolescents in a collaborative outpatient setting. Utilize your expertise to make a profound impact on young lives while working with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluates and provides therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents requesting mental health services
  • Conducts assessments with complete formulation, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Utilizes evidence-based approaches for therapy, including individual, family, and group modalities
  • Communicates effectively with parents and external agencies regarding treatment plans
  • Consults with child psychiatrists and medical providers regarding patient care
  • Maintains appropriate documentation of clinical services

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of post-masters practice experience in applied psychotherapy with a majority pediatric population (0-18 years)
  • Masters level degree (M.S.W., M.S., M.A., M.Ed.)
  • Licensure in Oregon and Washington within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with child and adolescent intensive outpatient programs
  • Experience with electronic medical record documentation
  • Training/experience in CBT, DBT, family therapy, and/or Collaborative Problem Solving
  • Specific training in Autism Spectrum Disorder interventions
  • Emphasis in child, adolescent, and family dynamics
  • LCSW, PsyD, PhD preferred
