A Geriatric Medicine Physician at Providence ElderPlace provides comprehensive care and social services to elderly patients in outpatient and community-based settings. The role requires board certification in Family or Internal Medicine, with preference for geriatric or palliative care fellowship training, and involves a Monday to Friday daytime schedule with limited on-call duties. Working within a supportive team, the physician contributes to a multidisciplinary program aimed at helping seniors remain active and healthy in their communities.
Providence ElderPlace is seeking a full-time Geriatric Medicine physician to join its team in Beaverton, Oregon. This is a single, coordinated program that provides comprehensive care and social services to older patients throughout the area. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of recent clinical experience and enjoy working with a complex and diverse geriatric population. Providence ElderPlace is a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), and is the first program of its kind in Oregon. With eight conveniently located centers in the Portland area and on the Oregon Coast, Providence ElderPlace provides and coordinates all necessary care services for seniors to remain active within their communities. The PACE model offers medical care, physical and occupational therapy, lab tests and procedures, home care services and more.
