Join Optum as a Float Pharmacy Technician to support mental health and specialty pharmacy operations. You'll dispense prescriptions, provide exceptional service to patients, and ensure compliance with regulations while collaborating with a dedicated care team.
Key Responsibilities
Provides exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff
Fills prescription orders under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
Verifies medication stock and maintains inventory records
Assists Pharmacist in pharmacy functions and compliance
Performs clerical duties related to the department
Communicates effectively with verbal and written skills
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in Minnesota or ability to obtain before hire
Ability to use own car to travel to another site in MN when needed
Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
