Key Responsibilities
Maintain a culture consistent with the Service and Behavioral Standards Handbook
Greet patients, answer the telephone, route calls/tasks, book appointments, verify insurance, and handle payments
Check patients in, verify demographics and insurance coverage
Use appropriate criteria to avoid duplicate documentation in the EHR
Notify back-office staff of patient arrivals
Manage provider schedules for accuracy
Participate in cleaning shared work areas and training new employees
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of experience in a service-related industry
6+ months of customer service experience in a professional office setting
Preferred Qualifications
Intermediate level of computer and telephone skills, including Microsoft Office suite
Excellent proven customer service skills
Ability to work well with providers, clinical staff, and patients
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work
