Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Location: San Antonio, TX

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)

Start Date: ASAP

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Travel pay rate: $21/hr W2 (Taxable) +$1477

Non-Taxable Stipend = Weekly Gross Pay: $2233

Unit Overview

• Unit Type: Labor & Delivery
• Floating: Required (primarily to Antepartum)
• EMR System: Meditech
• Patient Population: Vaginal and cesarean deliveries, D&C, cerclage, and magnesium sulfate administration
• Scheduling: 3x12-hour shifts/week, rotating weekends
• Scrubs Provided

Requirements

• Active TX RN license (no temp licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent L&D experience
• BLS, NRP, ACLS (Required)
• Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
• Ability to circulate C-section deliveries
• Willingness to float as per policy
• High-quality patient care and strong communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Advanced AWHONN
• Strong adaptability and team collaboration

All travelers are integrated into the unit as core team members and expected to follow facility standards for attire, attendance, and patient care. Dress code policies include no artificial nails/polish, covered tattoos when feasible, and no visible facial piercings.
