Job Description

As a Patient Services Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming atmosphere and guiding them through their appointments. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and patient satisfaction in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors
  • Guide patients through their visit
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Collect payments and manage insurance information
  • Process medical records requests
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Maintain front desk and waiting area
  • Support office operations by ordering supplies

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 1+ years practical experience in a similar position
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Keyboard skills of 25 words per minute

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree
  • Experience in a patient-facing role
  • Experience working in medical/healthcare industry
  • 2+ years experience in a customer service setting
  • Experience with medical office software (EMRs)
