Advanced Heart Failure Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Eastern Georgia

A hospital and clinic is seeking a cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in eastern Georgia.
An Advanced Heart Failure BC/Fellowship-trained MD/DO is needed due to a resignation, with coverage through June 30, 2026. The role includes both inpatient and outpatient care at a Level I Trauma center using EPIC. Schedule is flexible: 7a7a shifts one to two weeks/month and a 7-day VAD call (MonSun). Clinic runs MonThurs 15p, Fri 8a12p; inpatient consults and rounds are MonThurs 8a12p, Fri 15p. Avg. 1 VAD admission/week, 1 VAD census, 2 consults per half day, and 10 clinic patients per half day. Full support staff provided. Credentialing takes 120 days.
