Job Description

Join our team as a Line Cook at Mad Town Gastropub in Madison Regional Airport, where you'll prepare quality dishes, ensure kitchen efficiency, and enjoy a supportive work environment with great advancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow recipes and practice portion control
  • Maintain proper setup of kitchen/station
  • Requisition and stock required food and condiments
  • Handle, store, and rotate products properly
  • Maintain and clean machinery and equipment
  • Manage stock and storage of perishables
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists
  • Ensure quality of products served
  • Perform cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old
  • One year line cook experience in a restaurant
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods
