Key Responsibilities
Prepares patients and adjusts equipment for taking exposure.
Positions patients for procedures and works with physicians to obtain optimal images.
Operates c-arm equipment to provide quality images for the surgeons.
Coordinates surgery schedules to assure surgeons receive excellent radiology service.
Performs clerical duties related to radiology.
Takes x-ray images in various areas of the hospital with portable equipment.
Assists with staff/student training and education.
Produces high-quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
Maintains records as needed by the Radiology Department.
Required Qualifications
Associate's or certification from an accredited School of Radiology
Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 60 Days
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years Related experience in surgery
