Job Description
Join Georgia Hospice Care as a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional care for hospice patients. This role offers ample opportunities for professional growth while ensuring the highest quality patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the coordination, supervision, and implementation of professional and supportive services for hospice patients
Oversee the care team and provide education and training related to clinical practice, regulation and reimbursement changes
Orient new employees
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred)
Current state license as a registered nurse
2-3 years of supervisory experience as a registered nurse in an appropriate clinical care setting, home health, or hospice environment
Reliable transportation
Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Evidence of clinical and supervisory knowledge and experience appropriate to the assigned supervision responsibilities
