Position: Registered Nurse (RN) The RN ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care by implementing and following individualized nursing care plans while supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform systematic assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs.
- Receive admissions and transfers; complete nursing database within 24 hours.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans, including problem identification, goals, interventions, and discharge planning.
- Assess safety and fall risk levels; provide patient and family teaching and counseling.
- Accurately transcribe and process medical orders; administer and evaluate medications, IVs, and critical drips per policy.
- Provide wound care, ventilator management, and emergency response (Code Blue, CPR, crash cart).
- Ensure documentation is timely, accurate, and complete in patient records.
- Deliver discharge instructions and complete interagency transfer forms.
- Lead, delegate, and supervise LPNs and CNAs; ensure tasks are performed appropriately.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team planning and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and hospital policies.
- Uphold professional development through continuing education and maintaining licensure.
- Demonstrate strong communication and leadership in patient care delivery.
Requirements: - BLS Certification – required
- ACLS Certification – required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience (highly desired)
- Active RN licensure
