Key Responsibilities
Completes dental prophylaxis and provides oral cancer screening
Prepares patients for dental hygiene treatment
Answers questions and requests from patients and employees
Maintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment
Evaluates patients' oral health and selects materials and equipment
Cleans deposits and stains from teeth
Completes oral cancer screenings and assesses periodontal disease
Applies fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents
Required Qualifications
Active dental hygiene license in KS
Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health care practice
