Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate knowledge of insurance processes, including deductibles, out-of-pockets, and copays
Accurately record payments received from patients and insurance companies
Conduct regular reviews of patient accounts to identify discrepancies
Interact with patients and families to address billing inquiries
Initiate collection efforts for past-due accounts
Maintain detailed records of all interactions and transactions related to patient accounts
Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations
Generate reports on accounts receivable status and collections efforts
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role within healthcare finance or billing
Strong understanding of insurance processes and healthcare billing regulations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
