Travel Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care & Emergency - $2,270 per week

Talent4Health is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Ketchum, Idaho.

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:
• Provide independent respiratory care in all hospital areas, including ED, ICU-level patients, and high-risk OB deliveries
• Assess, treat, and manage patients across all age groups (neonatal to geriatric)
• Perform respiratory interventions, ventilator management, airway support, oxygen therapy, and emergency response
• Respond to Code Blue and critical care situations as the sole RT on shift when required
• Document treatments and assessments accurately in the facility EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain equipment safety, readiness, and troubleshooting
• Follow all hospital and respiratory care protocols
• Complete a 12-week assignment with potential extension

Requirements

Experience:
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience
• Must be able to work independently as the only RT on duty at times
• Must have experience caring for all age groups in emergency and high-acuity settings (ED, critical care, high-risk OB)

Education:
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Must meet state education requirements for Idaho licensure

Certifications & Licenses:
• Valid Idaho Respiratory Therapist license (required before start)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NBRC
• BLS
• ACLS
