The Case Associate works within the Jewish Board's Adult Residential Division, supporting residents with serious mental illness to live independently. This role focuses on advocating for residents, assessing their needs, and helping them achieve their personal recovery goals through compassionate guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide services to residents, including evaluating and assessing independent living skills
Advocate on behalf of residents with other service providers
Conduct monthly unit/apartment inspections
Participate in planning and execution of special events
Complete regular documentation of resident interactions
Required Qualifications
AA degree and two years of experience in a community mental health setting
HS/HSE degree and at least five years of experience in a community mental health setting
Experience working with individuals living with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, or trauma
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of products
Valid driver's license and willingness to drive agency van
